Second Man Charged After Soccer Brawl - Revesby

A second man has been charged following a brawl involving players and spectators at a sporting event in Sydney's south-west over the weekend.

Emergency services were alerted when a fight began about 3.30pm on Saturday (30 May 2026), at an under 17s boys' soccer match in a park on Iluka Street, Revesby.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated an 18-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he received further treatment for injuries including a bite to his back.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were informed that a number of spectators had entered the field of play after a fight broke out between players.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 47-year-old man on Sunday (31 May 2026) where he was charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 25 June 2026.

Later that day, police arrested an 18-year-old man and was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with armed with intent to commit indictable offence and affray.

He was refused bail and faced Bankstown Local Court today (Monday 1 June 2026), where he was granted conditional bail to reappear on Thursday 25 June 2026.

Inquiries are continuing.
