Second man charged following firearms incident

Police have charged a second man following a firearms incident in Point Cook on 19 February, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged a number of shots were fired in the vicinity of Adelphi Boulevard just after 5.30pm.

No one was injured.

Investigators executed a search warrant at an address in Wyndham Vale yesterday afternoon and arrested a man.

The 32-year-old Wyndham Vale man has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and possess a firearm.

He has been remanded to appear in Sunshine Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Yesterday a 27-year-old South Melbourne man was charged with possess proceeds of crime, possess ammunition and drug-related offences.
