A second person has been charged over an incident at a Karoola home on Sunday 15 August.
A 29-year-old George Town man has been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and assault in relation to the incident..
The man will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court today at 11.30am.
Police allege two men forced entry to the residence about 5:30am, assaulting two occupants before stealing a small amount of cash.
One of the occupants, a 64-year-old man, sustained a significant head injury in the incident.
