Second man charged with murder after death of man at Forbes, NSW

Police have charged a second man with murder after the death of a man in the state’s Central West last year, NSW Police say.

About 1.20am on Sunday 19 November 2017, emergency services were called to Weelong Place at Forbes, after a 31-year-old man was found with significant head injuries on the front lawn of a premises.

He was taken to Forbes Hospital, where he later died on Monday 20 November 2017.

Strike Force Heinrich was established by officers from the Central West Police District to investigate the incident.

About 2.10pm today (Tuesday 19 September 2018), a 38-year-old man attended Forbes Police Station where he was arrested and charged with murder.

He was refused bail and will appear at Forbes Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 18 September 2018).

A 38-year-old man, also charged with murder, remains before the courts.
