Police can now release the name of the second person who died following a two vehicle crash on SH14, near the intersection of Otuhi Road, Wheki Valley on 1 June.
He was Batholemew Joseph Junior Savelio, 30, of Whangārei.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
