Security guard stabbed in CBD overnight, South Australia

Police are investigating after a security guard was stabbed in the CBD this morning.

Police will allege, just before 1am Sunday 6 October, police and emergency services were called to a licensed premise on Hindley Street after reports a security guard had been stabbed in the arm by a patron with a pair of scissors.

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.

A 24-year-old man from Flinders Park was arrested and charged with aggravated causing serious harm.

Detectives from Eastern District CIB are investigating the incident.
