From April 26 to 28, 2022, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, packages containing unauthorized items were seized in the medium security unit at Dorchester Penitentiary.
The unauthorized items seized included 176 nicotine patches. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $31,000.
The institution is investigating.
