Seniors' Social Walking Group

Get outside and enjoy the beautiful community with a FREE leisurely walk with our Seniors Walking Group.

Hosted at both Leisurelink and Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre, our qualified trainers will guide a 45-minute walk once a week, running now until 21 April.

This program focuses on social inclusion and mental health and is free to the community.

Starting from the leisure centres, trainers will take you through the surrounding areas.

Upon return enjoy a social gathering over morning tea and free coffee, to further interact with fellow walkers.

As part of the Moving for Life grant program, the weekly group walk provides a chance to socialise and get moving and has many mental health benefits.

Leisurelink: Every Tuesday 9.30am
Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre: Every Thursday 9.45am

Greater Geelong Mayor Stephanie Asher

This is a fantastic opportunity for older members of our community to be active and meet new people.

I encourage anyone who is able, to join the group, enjoy a walk around the community, as well as the company of friends and new acquaintances.
