Lithgow Council
Lithgow Mayor Cass Coleman officially kicked off Seniors Week 2026 at an opening concert at the Union Theatre Lithgow on Monday 2 March.
The concert featured local musicians Ganymede and Abby Smith performing free live music to a very enthusiastic audience.
Council's Seniors Week program for 2026 delivers a diverse range of events that celebrates the valuable contributions of older people within the Lithgow community.
Proudly funded by the NSW Seniors Festival, the celebration brings together residents, local organisations, and service providers to celebrate ageing positively, strengthen community ties, and highlight the important role seniors play in community life.
