Separate cannabis crops lead to man's arrest, SA

Police have arrested a man in connection with two separate cannabis crops in the southern suburbs, according to SA Police.

At about 10am on Friday 8 September, police search a property at Morphett Vale and uncovered 16 mature cannabis plants being grown hydroponically.

Further investigations led police to search another property at Christies Beach yesterday (Thursday 29 September) where they uncovered 17 cannabis plants growing hydroponically.

The occupant, a 41-year-old from Christies Beach was charged with two counts of cultivate cannabis for sale and two counts of diverting electricity.

He has been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates court on 8 November.
