Serious Assault Appeal, Currumbin

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a serious assault that occurred in Currumbin on the evening of Saturday, 28 March.

At approximately 11:00pm, officers were called to Duringan Street following reports of a serious assault outside a licensed premises. Initial investigations suggest that a 42-year-old man sustained facial injuries and fractures during the incident. He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have released images of a man who may hold vital information regarding the incident. The man is described as Caucasian, with short dark hair and a moustache. At the time, he was wearing a black polo shirt with a white collar, black shorts, white shoes, and a black cap.

Police are urging the man, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information, to come forward.
