Serious Assault Appealin Brisbane City

Brisbane City Criminal Investigations Branch are appealing for public assistance to identify three men as part of ongoing investigations into a serious assault in Brisbane City on 8 June.

At approximately 1.47pm, a 32-year-old South Brisbane man was approached by an unknown man while walking on Eagle Street, near the intersection of Creek Street.

The unknown man struck the victim's head and pushed him, causing him to fall backwards and sustain a broken leg and ankle.

The offender then left the scene on foot along Eagle Street in the direction of Fortitude Valley with two other men.

The matter was reported to police on 17 July.

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify three men who may be able to assist with ongoing investigations.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, with an undercut hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, denim shorts and white sneakers.

The second man described as Caucasian in appearance, with a long shoulder length mullet. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with motif on the front and a vest on top, with jeans and white sneakers.

The third man is described as Caucasian in appearance, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black shirt with motif on front covered with black long sleeve shirt and white sneakers.

The men, or anyone with information or vision, including dashcam along Eagle Street between 1.40am to 2am, are encouraged to contact police.
