Police are investigating the serious assault of a 31-year-old man at Barney Point early this morning, Queensland Police say.
At about 3.45am, the man was at a Callide Crescent address when an altercation occurred with three men known to him.
During the incident, the man was repeatedly punched, kicked and assaulted with a brick.
The victim escaped to his vehicle, where the three men struck the car damaging the windscreen and side of vehicle prior to the man driving away.
The victim attended the Gladstone Base Hospital where he received treatment for a fractured jaw and bruising to his chest and abdomen.
Investigating officers arrested two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old man in Wood Street.
They are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
