Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred at West End this afternoon during which a man and a woman were injured, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate that around 3.30pm, a number of men entered the Bank Street residence and assaulted a man and a 28-year-old woman.
The men have left the residence in a vehicle.
The man and the woman were both transported to a Brisbane hospital with the man in a serious condition and the woman with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
