Police are investigating an incident at Aldinga Beach after a woman was found with serious injuries yesterday; a man is currently in custody, according to SA Police.
Just before 9am Friday 24 August police and paramedics were called to Myerhoff Street at Aldinga Beach after a woman was found in a home with serious head injuries. The 40-year-old woman was conveyed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition where she remains.
About 9.30pm Friday 24 August after an investigation police attended a Salisbury Heights home and arrested a 47-year-old Aldinga Beach man who has been charged with aggravated assault cause serious harm. The man is known to the woman.
The man has been refused bail and will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 27 August.
