Serious concerns held for man missing from Katoomba

Police are appealing for public assistance as serious concerns are held for a man missing in the Blue Mountains.

Anthony (Tony) Scott, aged 66, was last seen leaving his residence in Parke Street, Katoomba, about 11.30am on Wednesday (22 April 2020).

It's believed he was going for a bushwalk; however, he failed to return home and his friends and family have not been able to locate or contact him.

Police were alerted yesterday (Saturday 25 April 2020) and officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command are conducting inquiries to locate Tony.

Serious concerns are held for his welfare.

Tony is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 183cm tall, with a thin build, and a tanned complexion.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a black vest, grey shorts, blue joggers, and a black beanie with a white stripe.
