Police have responded to a collision between a tanker truck and a car in Shaw this morning.
Initial investigations indicate, shortly after 10 am at the intersection of Shaw Road and the Bruce Highway an LPG gas tanker has collided with a car.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash cam footage to contact police.
Some diversions are currently in place and the Bruce Highway is closed in that area.
Closures will remain in place for approximately two hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.
Some businesses in the area are self-evacuating.
Investigations are continuing.
