Investigations are underway following a traffic incident at Blackwater early this morning.
Police were called to reports a 48-year-old Woodford man had been struck by a vehicle on Turpentine Street at approximately 2.15am, with initial investigations indicating the vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene.
The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to Blackwater Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing, anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage in the area at the time is urged to contact police.
