Serious pedestrian crash in Sydney CBD

A man has been seriously injured after a crash in Sydney's CBD.

About 8.50pm yesterday (Saturday 11 November 2023), emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car in the north bound lanes of the Bradfield Highway – approximately 400m south of the southern pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge - Sydney.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 25-year-old male pedestrian at the scene where he was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

The 47-year-old male driver - and a 34-year-old male passenger - were uninjured.

The driver was taken to St Vincent's Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

As investigations continue police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident – or has any available dashcam footage – to contact Sydney City Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
