Serious single vehicle crash at Harristown, QLD

A 29-year-old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries following a single vehicle crash at Harristown early yesterday morning, Queensland Police say.

At around 2.30am, officers attempted to intercept a stolen motorcycle on South Street at Toowoomba however the rider evaded police and sped away.

The motorcycle was located crashed on South Street, approximately 1.5 kilometres away, which resulted in serious injuries to the male rider.

The man remains in Toowoomba Base Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
