Serious Traffic Accident in Kingsthorpe, Toowoomba Prompts Police Response

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious single-vehicle traffic crash at Kingsthorpe overnight, October 10.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 8.15pm, a white 2018 Toyota Hilux was travelling west along the Warrego Highway when it left the road at Zimms Corner and crashed.

The driver, a 47-year-old Western Downs man, was taken to the Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition and was later flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
