A man has been critically injured in a serious traffic crash at Burleigh Heads overnight, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests at 11.52pm, a car and bicycle crashed on the Gold Coast Highway at the intersection of 4th Avenue.
The 46-year-old cyclist has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The car’s 55-year-old male driver was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
