A woman is in a serious condition after a single vehicle crash south of Gordonvale overnight.
Around 8.15pm a Toyota Starlet was headed north of the Bruce Highway then the vehicle has left the road and hit a pole.
A female passenger in her twenties was airlifted to the Cairns Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver and other passenger, both also women in their twenties, were taken to Cairns Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
