Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious traffic crash which occurred in Kallangur this evening, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests at around 6.30pm a car travelling west along Ann Street has attempted to turn right into Sheaves Road and has collided with a motorcycle travelling east on Ann Street.
The motorcycle rider, a 23-year-old Kallangur man was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition with serious head and facial injuries.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old woman was uninjured.
Police are appealing for anyone was travelling along Ann Street around 6pm who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Anyone with information which could assist with this matter should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
