Serious traffic crash in Sandgate, QLD

A woman remains in a serious condition after a three vehicle crash on the Gateway Motorway this morning., Queensland Police say

Investigations indicate at 9.44am a 2017 blue Holden Commodore was travelling south on the motorway just after the Deagon deviation overpass when it has collided with two vehicles. The commodore has then come to rest against the outside railing of the motorway.

The driver and sole occupant of the Commodore, a 25-year-old Southport woman, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The drivers of the other two vehicles received minor injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the commodore prior to incident or have dash cam vision to contact them. Although her exact travelling path is not known it is believed the vehicle has travelled south on the Bruce Highway prior to exiting onto the Gateway Motorway.
