A 25-year-old man remains in a critical condition tonight following a skateboarding incident at Holmview this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information indicates the man was riding a skateboard down Ridgeway Boulevard shortly before 1pm when he fell off, hitting his head on the road.
At the time, the man was not wearing any protective clothing, including a helmet and suffered head injuries.
The man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
