A man is in custody after an armed robbery in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.
About 2.40am (Wednesday 12 December 2018), a man entered a service station on Wentworth Avenue, Pendle Hill, and threatened the console operator with a knife.
He was given an amount of cash and cigarettes and fled the scene. The staff member was not injured.
Police from Parramatta PAC and the Dog Squad attended.
About 3.20am, a man was arrested nearby.
He has been taken Parramatta Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
