Service station robbery Evandale, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery early this morning after a man armed with knife stole cash from an Evandale service station.

Just before 5am on Monday 3 May, a man wearing a grey hooded top his armed with a large kitchen knife entered a service station on Portrush Road threatened the console operator and fled with cash.

The suspect described as about 20-30 years, wearing black pants, a grey hoodie with blue writing across the front and carrying a Nike backpack fled on foot.

There were no physical injuries.

Eastern District patrols including a police dog patrol searched the area but the suspect wasn't located.
