Services over Christmas and New Year

Council wishes you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

There will be some changes to opening hours and services in December/January.

The Council Civic Centre and Depot will be closed from 4pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

Other service changes and facility closures

Bin Collections

There are no changes to kerbside collections over Christmas New year period – Please put bins out for collection as normal.

Transfer Stations

All Transfer Stations including Horsham and Dooen Transfer Stations are closed Christmas Day 25 December 2022.

Visitor Information Centre

Closed Christmas Day

Kalkee Road Hub Maternal and Child Health Centre

Normal Hours of Operation - No changes.

Horsham Library

Closed Public Holidays – other week days 10am to 2pm.

Horsham Aquatic Centre (YMCA)

Closed Christmas Day.

Community Safety

For dog attacks and contained animals call 03 5382 9777 for referral to Councils after hours service – matter will be directed to a Ranger. All other urgent matters are to be submitted via the on line portal Lodge a Service Request on Councils website.

Horsham Livestock Exchange

The weekly livestock markets will recommence on 11 January 2023.
