Servo robbery at Glenunga

Police are investigating a service station robbery at Glenunga in the early hours of this morning.

Just after 5am on Tuesday 16 May, a man entered the service station on Portrush Road, Glenunga armed with a knife and stole cash and cigarettes.

The console operator was not physically harmed during the robbery.

The suspect left on foot, last seen heading north along Portrush Road.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a police dog but have not yet located the suspect.

He is described as of Caucasian appearance, with a tanned complexion, medium build, facial stubble and a tattoo on his right shoulder.

Crime scene investigators will attend the scene this morning.
