Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) confirms COVID-19 has been detected in sewerage in Young and Harden and renews call for Hilltops community to come forward for testing.
Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and loss of taste or smell. Other symptoms include fatigue, acute blocked nose (congestion), muscle pain, joint pain, headache, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, unexplained chest pain and conjunctivitis.
The mobile clinic will be located at:
Young Town Hall
Monday 13 September (10.00 am – 4.00 pm)
Harden Hospital
Tuesday 14 September (10.00 am – 2.00 pm)

Sewerage testing is sensitive and a good way to alert us to potential people in the community with COVID-19. Sewerage surveillance is being conducted at Albury, Cootamundra, Deniliquin, Junee, Gundagai, Griffith, Leeton, Narrandera, Temora, Wagga Wagga, West Wyalong and Lake Cargelligo.
