Oakleigh police are investigating inappropriate sexual advances made towards a teenage girl on the 631 bus from Mulgrave to Clayton last month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a 16-year-old girl was on a bus on Police Road, Mulgrave about 3.30pm on 17 September.
An unknown man boarded the bus outside a secondary college and approached the victim.
The man made multiple inappropriate comments of a sexual nature towards the victim and touched her repeatedly on the shoulder.
The victim moved seats to avoid being near the man, who followed her and sat near her again before disembarking the bus on Blackburn Road, Clayton.
Detectives have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
