Sexual assault appeal at Kingaroy

Police have charged a 52-year-old man following investigations into two alleged sexual assaults in Kingaroy this year.

It will be alleged that on two separate occasions on February 15 and June 11 the man sexually assaulted women who were passengers paying to be transported in the vehicle he was driving.

A 52-year-old Kingaroy man was charged on July 13 with two counts of sexual assault and is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 8.

Further complaints have since been received and detectives are appealing for anyone with information, or interactions of a similar nature, to contact them.
