Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Shannon Sarmardin.
A warrant has been issued for the 30-year-old man's arrest for failing to answer bail.
Investigators have released an image of Sarmardin in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Sarmardin is Aboriginal, 170cm tall with a thin build, long wavy black hair and unshaven.
He is known to live a transient lifestyle however he frequents the Melbourne CBD and Bass Coast areas.
