Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for Council's Community Committees and we are inviting residents to apply for a role.

The City of Ryde Community Committees provide essential consultation, guidance and feedback to Council on the implementation and review of its priorities, plans and strategies.

There are eight committees to choose from:

  • Festival and the Arts Community Committee – informs Council of community views on festivals, events and arts.
  • Heritage Community Committee - supports the conservation and celebration of City of Ryde's significant places.
  • Inclusion and Wellbeing Community Committee - advises on making City of Ryde inclusive and accessible for all.
  • Multicultural Community Committee - ensures Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) residents in the City of Ryde are welcomed and actively involved.
  • Ryde Youth Council - represents young people's needs and encourages their active participation in all aspects of community and civic life.
  • Small Business Community Committee - guides Council in implementing the Economic Development Strategy.
  • Sport, Recreation and Leisure Community Committee – highlights matters relating to cycling, sport and recreation in the City of Ryde.
  • Sustainability Community Committee - provides insights on community priorities on natural environment and sustainability topics.

Submit your EOI application by 7 September 2025 to make a difference in your community.
