Shellharbour's Favourite Festive Night Returns

Shellharbour's most festive night of the year is back! The much-loved Carols by Candlelight will return to Croom Regional Sporting Complex on Friday 12 December 2025, bringing a free evening of music, laughter and community spirit.

Hosted by i98FM's Bella and Christian, the event will feature a heart-warming line-up of local performers, festive treats, and plenty of family fun under the stars. From 5pm, the venue will come alive with pre-show activities, kids' entertainment and roving performers. The main show begins at 6pm, featuring local talent performing classic Christmas favourites and community carols.

There'll be delicious food and light stalls, as well as show bags. A surprise visit from Santa Claus is also on the cards, so keep your eyes peeled. Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the event is one of the city's most cherished traditions.

"Carols by Candlelight is a special moment for Shellharbour. It's a time to come together, reflect on the year, and share in the joy and kindness that make our community so strong," Mayor Homer said.

The event will include Auslan interpreters to ensure everyone can enjoy the performances. Please note that flashing lights and loud sounds may feature throughout the evening.
