About 7:15pm (11 March 2016), a man has shot a firearm during an altercation in the rear car park of a hotel in Enfield.

Police were told a male walked out of the building and a loud noise was heard soon after by patrons.

A crime scene was established at the back of the building, near the intersection of Byer and Plymouth Streets.

A search of the area has located ammunition and this will be forensically examined.
