Shooting incidents, Carrara

Police have released CCTV of men they wish to speak to as part of their investigation into two separate shooting incidents at a Carrara home over the past week.

Around 4.50am on Thursday August 22, a number of projectiles were discharged into a residence on John Francis Drive.

A 54-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were in the residence at the time. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Around 4.00am on Monday August 26, a number of projectiles were again discharged into the same residence.

The two occupants were home at the time. No one was injured as a result of this shooting.

As part of their investigation, detectives from the Gold Coast CIB have released footage of two men fleeing the scene directly after the shooting on Thursday August 22. The second man seen running is believed to be carrying a firearm.

Detectives have also released footage of a man riding a pushbike in the direction of the residence directly before the second shooting on Monday August 26.

Police are also appealing for anyone who might have dashcam footage in the vicinity of John Francis Drive, around the time of either incident, to come forward.
