Police have commenced an investigation after a shot was allegedly fired in Sydney's south west overnight.
About 2.22am today (Wednesday 11 February 2026), emergency services were called to Olympic Parade, Bankstown, following reports a single shot had been fired into a home.
On arrival, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were told the shot had damaged a window before a vehicle sped away from the scene.
The occupants of the home - a 19-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman - were not injured.
Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
