Shots fired at Mt Pritchard house, NSW

A crime scene has been established in Mt Pritchard after shots were fired at a house early today, NSW Police say.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to Dadswell Place, Mt Pritchard, shortly before 12.30am (Tuesday 9 October 2018), after several loud bangs were heard.

Police attended the scene and found several shots had struck the exterior of one house.

There have been no reports of injury.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries are now underway.

Police believe the shots may have been fired by a person who’d left a dark sedan parked nearby. That car was driven from the scene immediately after the shots were heard.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted.
