Shots fired into house in Narromine.

Police are investigating after shots were fired into a house in Narromine last night, NSW Police say.

About 8.20pm yesterday police were called to a home on Murgah Street, Narromine, following a report of shots fired.

Officers from Orana Local Area Command have been told that two unknown males knocked on the front door of the premises and briefly spoke to the occupant.

Both men then left the premises and shortly after a number of shots were fired at the house. A car was heard to drive away at speed.

No-one was injured during the incident.

A crime scene was established and a number of items taken for forensic examination.

Police would like to speak with two men they believe can assist with inquiries.

The first man is described as 20 – 25 years old, Caucasian, thin build, black hair in a mullet style, unshaven and wearing a black baseball cap and orange hi-visibility long sleeve shirt.

The second man is described as having a medium build and wearing an orange hi-visibility long sleeve shirt.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Dubbo Police or Crime Stoppers.
