Shots Fired, Park Ridge

Police are investigating following a shooting incident in Park Ridge this morning, 31 October.

Around 1.22am, emergency services responded to reports two people had sustained gunshot wounds after shots were fired from a passing vehicle into a Baileys Lane residence.

An 18-year-old man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious-but-stable condition.

A 20-year-old woman was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening-injuries.

Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
