Shots fired, police investigate - Fairfield Heights

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command have established a crime scene after a public place shooting in Fairfield Heights overnight.

Police were called to a house on Stella Street, just after 10.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 2 September 2020), after reports several shots were fired into a home.

Police canvassed the area and the scene was examined by specialist forensic officers.

No one was injured during the incident.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police are urging anyone with information about the shooting or noticed anything suspicious near the home around the time of the incident to contact police.

Inquiries are ongoing; however, it is believed to be targeted.
