Single vehicle crash kills two men near Hay, NSW

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after two men died in a single vehicle crash in the state’s Riverina region, NSW Police say.

About 10pm on Saturday 29 September 2017, a search was conducted on a private property near Booroorban, approximately 46km south of Hay, after two men failed to appear at an event.

Following the search, a dual cab utility was located overturned in a paddock, with two men aged 27 and 25, found outside the vehicle. Both men died at the scene.

They are yet to be formally identified.

Emergency services were contacted and officers attached to Deniliquin Local Area Command established a crime scene.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
