Single vehicle crash, Mango Hill

Police are investigating following a single vehicle crash involving a stolen police van at Mango Hill this morning, October 3.

At 3.21am, police were responding to reports of an armed man on Boundary Road at Narangba.

Officers confronted the man who then left the scene in a stolen police vehicle.

The man subsequently crashed the van along Anzac Avenue at Mango Hill.

He left on foot and was followed by officers before being arrested nearby.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 37-year-old Moreton Bay man remains under police guard at the Hospital, and is assisting with enquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
