Police are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Upper Coomera yesterday afternoon, 30 June.
Around 5:30pm, police and emergency services responded to reports that a silver Ford Falcon sedan had left the roadway and struck a light pole along Reserve Road.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Falcon was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information or footage of the incident or the Falcon prior to the crash to come forward.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.
