The Roxy Community Theatre is delighted to announce that Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin, the internationally acclaimed one-man physical comedy sensation by Marcel Cole, is coming to Leeton for one performance only on Sunday 13 July 2025 at 1.00pm for the Art Deco Festival.
Presented by Create NSW and Arts on Tour, Smile is a dazzling, award-winning homage to one of the greatest icons of 20th-century cinema – Charlie Chaplin. With sell-out shows and five-star reviews across the global Fringe circuit, this vibrant performance offers a joyful, poignant and highly interactive theatrical experience that celebrates the spirit and genius of Chaplin through mime, music, and madcap antics.
Audiences will be treated to a whirlwind one-hour performance capturing Chaplin's meteoric rise, global fame, and eventual exile. Expect the unexpected – delivered with wit, warmth, and Marcel Cole's signature mastery of physical comedy.

Marcel Cole spent ten years training to be a ballet dancer then realised he had more fun making people laugh than being beautiful and so now after studying theatre, mime and clown in London and Paris, he is touring the world with his award-winning shows.
