Logan City Council's new waste contract starts on Thursday (July 1).

For the majority of residents, nothing changes other than the blue and white trucks of the new contractor Cleanaway.

The general waste and recycle bin collection day will remain the same unless Council has provided residents with a notice of a change.

Environment and Waste Chair, Deputy Mayor Jon Raven, said some bin collection times may change under the new contract.

"We don't want anyone's bins to be missed so please make sure your bin is out the night before or before 6am on your usual pickup day," Cr Raven said.
