SMS geo-targeting alert issued to help locate missing man in Sydney CBD

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney and have since issued a SMS geo-targeting alert.

Mr Ben Rosten, aged 45, was last seen on Pitt Street before 10am yesterday (Tuesday 12 July 2022).

When some of his personal belongings were located, officers attached to Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Ben's welfare due to medical conditions.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of solid build, with red/ginger hair and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing long tan coloured jeans, a grey sweater, black polished leather shoes and glasses.

He is known to frequent the Harrington Park and Penhurst areas.

It's believed Ben may be around the Sydney CBD area near Eddy Avenue and Central Railway Station.

Anyone who has seen or heard from Ben, or may know of his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
