SNSW Branch Women's Forum

The MUA Southern NSW Branch is holding a women members Forum on

December 8th

9.30am-2.30pm

This forum is open to all women members in our industry. (Kids welcome)

The forum will involve open discussions regarding:

  • Everyday issues in our workplaces.
  • What improvements can the branch make to better support women in our industry.
  • The structure and democracy of the union
  • MUA history and culture
  • Solving problems in the workplace including safety issues.
  • How to play a positive and constructive role in the workplace
  • Rights and responsibilities of a delegate

The forum will be facilitated by Branch Secretary Mick Cross and

Mich-Elle Myers: MUA National Women's Liaison Officer

And will include some guest speakers

This is an opportunity for members and the branch to understand workplace issues in a collaborative fashion and ensure we all continue to work towards more positive workplaces

Discussions and concerns will be communicated through our delegate networks to ensure we are all working hard to constantly to improve the respect and recognition women rightfully deserve in the workplace.
